Transitional Pilates

Uraina Nagy attended Florida State University where she danced for internationally renown teachers and choreographers.  It was at FSu where Uraina learned of the many benefits of Pilates. Although she earned a degree in environmental studies, she could not deny her passion for movement and interpersonal connection.  Uraina moved to Seattle to attain her STOTT Pilates certification at Bodycenter.  Currently, she is a Senior Instructor of Pilates at Bodycenter.  Uraina has had additional training in the integration of Pilates and physical therapy using the movement system impairment approach.  She is well trained to teach Pilates to our current and former patients.

Uraina teaches Transitional Pilates on Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM. This class focuses on the foundations of structural alignment and core stabilization. Body awareness exercises will be introduced to challenge and strengthen your core control in many different ways. The class is available to anybody who would like to begin or continue to improve their personal fitness and well being.  This class is espeically suited for individuals transitioning from injury to a lifestyle of wellness and fitness.

Classes will be offered on Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM. The cost of the class series is $70 for the entire series.  Class size is 8 participants.
