The goal of the physical therapists at Movement Systems Physical Therapy, P.S. is to promote a lifestyle of health, wellness, and fitness to all our patients and clientele. We cannot undertake this educational process without the help of highly qualified exercise providers in the community. Over time, we have developed relationships with many exercise providers in the Seattle community. The list below includes personal trainers, Pilates and Yoga instructors that work with us on a routine basis. In addition, many of the exercise providers at these facilities have attended our instructor training classes. Urban Kinetics Urban Kinetics is a personal training studio on Capital Hill. We have approximately 15-20 independent contractors who use the facility on a daily basis. Urban Kinetics’ main focus is Functional Training. This type of training forces the individual to train his or her muscles in a manner demanded by the activity for which they are training. This type of training can help reduce the risk of injury and increase overall performance. This class is geared toward individuals with chronic Musculoskeletal conditions or those recovering from injury. Classic Pilates are adapted to suit the individual needs of the participants. Class size is small to allow for individual attention.
