Suzanne Oliver, PT

Suzanne Oliver graduated from University of Puget Sound in 1984 with a bachelor of science in physical therapy. She has been working in outpatient orthopedics since 1986.

Suzanne was exposed to the teaching of Shirley Sahrmann, PT, PhD, FAPTA in 1993 while working with Carrie Hall, PT, MHS at a Seattle based out-patient orthopedic clinic. She began working at Movement Systems Physical Therapy, P.S. in 2002.

While Suzanne has a long CV of continuing education, her strongest area of interest is combining manual therapy with the Sahrmann approach to exercise and movement. She completed her Level III training with North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) in 1996 and has served as a lab assistant for all Levels I, II, and III.

Suzanne has focused her career on treating clients with musculoskeletal and sports related dysfunctions. She is particularly interested in working with active clients to promote prevention and wellness within the movement system.

Beyond work, Suzanne enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, climbing, gardening, and being a mom to her elementary school age son. He keeps her busy with chauffeuring him to his numerous activities such as soccer and drumming. In addition to Suzanne’s love for the outdoors, she is committed to a healthy lifestyle and enjoys a weekly fitness routine including running and gym climbing.
