Bettiann Wing, PT

Bettiann Wing, PT graduated from the University of Washington in 1984. Nearly all of her career has been spent working in outpatient orthopedic settings in the greater Seattle vicinity. She began working at Movement Systems Physical Therapy, P.S. in the spring of 2000.

Bettiann first began studying the work of Shirley Sahrmann in 1992 and over the years has incorporated Dr. Sahrmann’s concepts of the diagnosis and treatment of movement impairments into her physical therapy practice. In addition to the Sahrmann approach to patient management, Bettiann has extensively studied manual therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) and completed the level three examination process in 1997. She has also devoted herself to taking continuing education courses to develop expertise in myofascial release techniques and the evaluation and treatment of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine dysfunction.

Outside of work, Bettiann keeps herself busy with her husband and teenage son. She can’t bear to miss any of her high school age son’s athletic events (GO BLANCHET BRAVES!!!). Her other passion is gardening with attention to landscape, flowers, and all season vegetable gardens.
